All you need to know about hiring loos for events
When hiring loos for the first time, it’s understandable that you may not realise the information we will need from you in order to give you the best possible quote based on the most relevant equipment for your event type, guests numbers etc. Our trained office team will need to ask you a series of questions which we have listed below as a guide to what we need to know and why.
What type of event are you holding? The type of event you are holding may determine the type of toilet unit you are looking to hire. For example, if it’s a wedding you will probably be interested in one of our ultimate luxury white wedding units. If it’s a small garden party, festival or sporting event then it’s likely that our Eco blue units or single chemical portable toilets would be the most useful type of toilet to hire.
What date is your event? It’s a vital piece of information as we need to be sure that we still have some mobile toilet units available for hire.
How many people will be attending your event and how many hours will the event be running? These are key pieces of information. Our different mobile toilet unit ranges, Ultimate Luxury White, Deluxe Green and Eco Blue all have different size options available to hire. Your number of guests and duration of event will determine the size of unit most suitable for your event.
How will you provide electricity to the toilet unit? All of our toilet units require a power supply. We ensure that each unit is supplied with up to 50 meters of extension cable however we do not recommend trying to place a unit any further away from the power supply than this distance. We can if necessary provide you with a generator small enough to power just the toilet unit or large enough to power your entire event. Just ask a member of our team!
Is there sufficient space & accessibility for delivery & collection of toilets? In order to carry out a delivery of a hired mobile toilet unit, we require suitable access for our vehicles and trailers to position them, they also need to be placed on flat ground. We will provide you with a specification sheet giving you all the relevant dimensions of the toilet unit you have hired so that you have the opportunity to check for suitable space and access during delivery.
When would we need to deliver and collect the toilets? Our delivery of mobile toilet units generally takes place from Wednesday through to Saturday with collections taking place Sunday through to Tuesday. If however your requirements do not fit into this schedule we are extremely flexible and can work with you and your event needs to come to a suitable arrangement.
